Hi there my fellow poets and friends .

Just of late the poetry community has been in the doldrums and I some times feel the only poetry coming through is love poems while these are all very nice the constant flow of them may be having an adverse effect on the readers you must know the old saying variety is the spice of life .

I know for one how I would love to read a few more poems with different themes now don't get me wrong love poems are fine and good and I am not saying no love poems but just for a change how about a few with a different theme which brings me to my next point in a few weeks time I would like to have some themed weeks where I will suggest a particular theme for example "FIELDS AND TREES" and with your own flair and creativity you post your poems on that subject.

And lastly some thing to bare in mind I would also like an open mic month where we have spoken poetry submitted has well has your usual submissions in the mean time have a think about it
