as promised I did ask in the forum and this is what I got:

If you have a PC,
normally, you have a program developped by Microsoft called "HOME VIDEO MAKER".It works very well, and very well explained.You just have to follow the instructions.

is this of any help for you?

The program is called Windows Movie Maker .
Though limited the program is easy to use .
