I have been thinking about marriage and the way people think about it do they really have any true regard to there vows that they take forget the religious side for a moment let us take the aspect of commitment do couples really feel the need to commit to one an other or are they just making an excuse to have a big party may be at mom and dads expense or do the feel that a giving and receiving of vows will strengthen their love for one and other and give them more will to make the partnership work I do hope that the commitment means more than a good party

Great party for the wedding !!
Wedding process in public and adding some spirituality and God has taken birth in the process of humanising the homosapians.
This is to regulate the woman sharing by men, using some rules and regulations, IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD, IN THE PRESENCE OF HOLY MEN, IN THE PRESENCE OF HOLY WATER, IN THE PRESENCE OF CELESTIAL CONSTALLATIONS, HOLY TIMES, RELATIVES, GOOD THINGS AND BAD THINGS, etc.,
Different human groups have different rituals attached based on their affluance, geography, boy-girl ratio, governments etc.
In India, marriages are carried out based on some good celestial times (time based on certain good positions of stars and planets, called astrology), in presence of a priest chanting mantras, oaths taken by groom and bride in presence of at least a few elders, few tens to few thousands, followed by a feast, basic meal to lavish extravaganza of wastages. There will be some simbol attached to the girl as a sacred symbol of marriage, like a yellow thread around the brides neck, a red bangle, or just KUMKUM (RED POWDER) on her head etc.
The success rate of Hindu marriages, is generally greater than 90 percent.
People are forced to believe and every one makes it a point that the married people live for long, together. Every elder (close relative and the respected elders) attending the marriage try to mediate in case of problems in understanding etc. With children as bonding they live their married lives, happiness and sorrows, as life takes many turns. Most of the suicidal deaths seen are either couples deaths or the whole family, if some serious financial problem, or any problem haunts them.
It has become a fashion among school/ College going children to die together, if their love fails or they suspect disapproval of their love from their parents.
Success or failure of love is seen as a major theme for the Indian Cinema for over half a century.
Strange?
Every couple have to try their luck in their WEDDING!!
