We just moved to this very old, very big house, naturally my husband works at night
Leaving me and our two children, here at night all alone
So, at night, all the lights stay on, hoping there is nothing that would give us a fright
I had heard rumors about this place, but my husband says that is hear say, why would even that I condone?

I bet this place is over two hundred years old, a place that harbors a lot of memories
Memories, good or bad, imprinted on these very old walls
A place my husband says, is as safe as can be
A place, far from the city, where we will be safe, from robbers and breakers of the law.

But, I dare to disagree, I am not afraid of the living, I am afraid of the dead
What are spirits, except the energy of those, that once were
A couple hundred years, that is a very long time, for those walls, to be imprinted, by heartaches of others and their dread
Things from which I only want to stay away from and deter.

One night, one that which my children and I were all alone
Outside there was a massive storm, one so big, it scared us all
Inside our massive house, we were chilled right to the very bone
Nothing could prepare us for what we heard and what we saw.

We were in the living room, we hear a very unusual sound
We heard people talking, but there was no one there, anyway nothing we could see
We looked around, but nothing could be found
Then on the stairs, a woman, talking to the man behind her, transparent as can be.

I knew this would happen, because the house is so very old
A lot of things, I will put up with, but not things that are not even of this earth
Telling my husband, we had to move, and I stood my ground, I was very bold
I don't know what the sprits wanted, I really don't care, I just want to be away from their horrific turf.

Readable but not up to the standard I now expect from your prolific mind my very best wishes
Ian Paul

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me send money.
