You could ask whoever's file it is you want to enable there button

i dont know if anybody already suggest this but i found a way to download music w/o download button

right click on the player, properties, copy the location adresss and pasted it on ur browser adress bar n hit enter, save as window will appear there u can save it

when there's a will, there's a way....

ok this is another trick to download the song where the download button is not available

maybe they read my post and fix the bugs but i found another way around

click on the song you like
and when you see the player, right click on it click on properties
go to location and copy the location link

go to hidemyass.com (it just a proxy website so ppl can surf any website from their office, it's totally safe website)

and paste the link there and click hidemyass/enter

save as window will appear, there u can download it to your comp

Right click the Windows Media bar and click Properties. Copy and paste the URL you see in your browser. That's the easiest way to download a song. ;]

if you use firefox browser it wont open the windows media player so you can use my trick

You guys could do this:

1) Play the music you want on esnips.

2) Look at the URL in the address box at the top of the page eg.

3) Now go to your History button at the top, near the Favourites button.

4) Look under [esnips (www.esnips.com)], look for a link which starts with ?id=... eg.
?id=1201701066234

5) Roll over the link to check if the number corresponds to the number on the URL eg. if you roll over the link named
?id=1201701066234, a yellow box should appear with the text:

6) Click that link, the one named ?id=1201701066234. Windows Media Player should start playing the song.

7) In Windows Media Player, click on file and save as... . The rest is self-explanatory.

I've been downloading songs from esnips using the same technique and I haven't had any problems till now. Enjoy...

ok heres another way:

right click on the player

select properties

copy the location link

paste it in ur browser adress bar

it will play in windows media player

in windows media player go to file - save as - change the name of the file with .mp3

this is good information and will be useful to many I can imagine..

but I got a chuckle out of seeing it posted here..

Since Esnips disabled or removed the download button.. they more than likely did so for a reason lol

so.. while this may work for awhile.. I'd venture a guess that it won't work forever -- reasons would still exist I would guess.. lol ..

it's good of you to expose the holes so they can be repaired tho lol
