I'm assuming it was caused by an upload glitch. I kick myself for not copying the HTML code prior to making the edit, which was nothing more than removing a word from the text discription. All and all, my virtual reality models have not got very many hits here, so I don't plan on rebuilding the site, so its no biggy, merely an update on the disfunction here. I no longer use this site as a download center for my othersites so I don't have a problem.

Actually, all the problems and poor hits have driven me over to youtube and I'm sooo impressed with the way things work there, and all the wonderful site statistics and lack of problems... eSnips has become redundant except for messaging my friends, and email can do that better since I can send files without them being swf'd which prevents them from displaying properly.

If I ever take up kareoke or need a place to put up a bunch of other people's graphics I downloaded from the web, I'll return to uploading here. But all my original work can find, and has found, better places to be displayed. One of these days, I may get a notice that eSnips has been totally rebuilt and made user friendly, and not need so much moderator public relations... I'm not holding my breath. Till then...

check these stat links from the prev messages... The stats are still slipping!!!! How low will it go before the powers that be give us a service that actually works SMOOTHLY

Being privy to eSnips' Google Analytics; which has more exact data, our user visits have been up for like 6 or 7 consecutive weeks.

While there was a learning curve with new management; we've since turned the corner and are more much effective in maintaining and updating the site.

Perhaps, but the chart shows eSnips sucked in August.. its becomming a tradition eh pooblah?!

I agree with everyone above--the problems here at esnips seem to be many and I don't understand why this is all happening. Like the spammers problem--what happened to the software installion which was to be installed? I now have so much of it and I am not sure how to keep them away. I miss uploading my paintings, I miss the companionship of fellow artists--I don't mean to be complaining so much--I am just so disappointed in how things are now--compared to last year. This site was so healthy and full of good people interacting. Anyway, all of you know this already---I just would like to know if esnips is really planning on pulling out, going out of business, because it sure seems like it. Why don't they tell us if this is going to happen? There is no reason for me to be at esnips anymore except to come and delete the spam that fills my page--there is nothing else here anymore. Please leave your comments on what I expressed. Thanks

Ask Cohenj88, he seems to be the new guy who's suppose to have the answers and tell us how to behave while getting the shaft. Don't expect truth, he's just another mouthpiece for the admin. You'll get promisses that they are doing all they can... yawn...

I'd rather have someone tell me to @#$% off, rather then say it in sweet words so as to think that they are concerned with my feelings, and using the tactic of being polite while being an ass to give them an upperhand to be dismissive...
