HELLO!
Check it out -
Competition Guidelines:

1.One original mix per DJ
2.The maximum length of your mix should be 15 minutes.
3. It should be in MP3 format.
4.Tag your mix with djcontestjune (exact spelling)
5.Submissions begin on June 1st and end June 10th midnight Pacific Daylight Time
World Clock

( if an overwhelmingly large amount of mixes get sent in, we will have to determine an inclusion by submission date – so get your mixes in early!)

6.Voting will take place June 11th-21st. anyone can vote, not only registered eSnips users....So put the word out!

7.We might use the competition to help promote the community and the site.

This is exciting!

My mix is done 15mins was long enough,I used 9 tracks in all & needed to catch some Zzzzzzzzzz when I was done. 15 mins is plenty of time to cut loose & tear up some havoc on the decks.....

So I have to ask: Is there any problems with tracks being original? I've heard it's illegal to use tracks without author's permission, or whatever house they're produced by... I hope it'll be a fair contest. Good luck to all that did something ORIGINAL.

I just wanna know because I'm not mega clear on this but.. Is the entry just a mix (a few tunes together) or..
For a REMIX?!

I like the idea but as usual. Good ol eSnips havn't really explained this too well.

In short.. REMIX OR MIX?

I guess both would be accepted. As a DJ you can do some remixing on the fly, as well as mixings different songs together....but that's just my opinion...

15 minutes? That's barely enough room for 3 house tracks.
Pfft!

Oh well, I'll have to cut 5 tunes to shreds and submit those.

I am a Music Pirate and proud of it!
(But Ninjas are WAY cooler than Pirates!)
