Hello Everyone!

November brings about the 1st Birthday of the Painting Community as one of the first communities started on eSnips!

We would like to put something together to show the beautiful paintings and artwork here......we thought a show of portraits?

to show your work, and who you are, as well....what do you think?

a portrait can be anything

a wash of color, an image , a handprint- it doesnt have to be realistic

you might be surprised at what you do......

welcome to eSnips - i hope you have a great time on the site, sharing your work ...and enjoying the people and thiings you can find here.
ther are fantastically talented artists and musicians and poets and photographers.... and many more.

to join a community, all you need to do is upload a file - say, a image of one of your paintings, and tag it with one of the tags for the community like :
painting or paintings .

any file that gets tagged with a community tag, gets show on the homepage, and you - as the file owner join the community too.

let me know how it goes and when you upload your stuff!

So... in order to to join 1st Birthday show all I need to do is to upload my portrait and tag it "painting"? Or I need TO ADD it here in forum in this brunch?

Hi,Congrats on your 1st Birthday

I have just joined this community and must say I like the look of it and am sure I will enjoy my visits.
I have been an artist for longer than I care to remember

and have picked a few things up along the way and am only too pleased to help if I can,I am no expert and am not professional but can paint and draw in all mediums.

Thanks for reading my ramblings and hope to visit again soon.
