We watch the clock as it edges closer to midnight, in total raw fear
We hold our breath, as we are really really scared
We need to steer the clock in the opposite direction, this is totally clear
As the clock inches closer, we know that maybe on this earth it could soon be the devil's lair.

I think most afraid and realize how close we truly are
And yet the situation, is still in the dark, a darkness as black as night
Mankind just doesn't realize how close, the inevitable, it is very close, not very far.

As the hands of the clock tick closer, mankind doesn't take heed
Shrugging it off, thinking this will never happen to me
Mankind not realizing we are harvesting, all our horrific seeds
Seeds we have sewn, no one should be proud of, but everyone still thinking, this will never happen to me.

Does any one think what will happen, when we strike midnight?
Doesn't any one care what fate might throw our way?
Still, the warfare, famines and plagues, some thinking as long it is not me it is alright?
No one thinking we need to tae time to force the hands of the clock the other way?

As we are all wrapped up in our petty differences and arguments
The clock edges closer to midnight
If it hits midnight, there is so turning back then, we will all pay for our stupid intent
Doomsday will be upon us, and I guess mankind will continues their unnecessary fights,
