Hey,
Thanks for taking the time to read my thread opinion

Esnips has provided millions of users with the facility to view, interact, upload and download files of every type of concept over the past few years.

I assume that there's some serious explanation for the recent development of the removal download button. There might be some ongoing discussions that we're all not aware of yet, so it might be a bit to lame on both sides to start assuming the worse

Esnips have always provided friendly assistance and interacted with user development. I don't believe ignorance is a fact in this mater rather that there might be legal, band and development issues.

The best thing we can do as a community is to support the changes for the interim and express the need for change through a constructive media format.

Don't go with the knee jerk i'm leaving or i will use some java script rubbish - take a step back... they have done okay... c'mon!

The global change in society and the copyright rules and regulations around the world unfortunately do dictate.

Esnips has elected to make some changes, but these do seem some what contradictory in the argument of copyright.... because it would allow un-registered users to download?

If you agree with the following the please vote on this thread - I AGREE

1) Registered users have the opportunity to upload and download at the same bit rate.
2) Un-registered users have the option view/listen/interact at a reduced bit rate. - - i.e. view a pic/sound/video at a lower quality.
3) Existing registered users automatically have the download option ticked on all of the work they have completed so far.
4) New and existing users have the option to select the download and by doing so they agree to the regulations and general copyright rules.
5) Existing users have the option to allow NON-download when uploading new files.
6) Add pay pal & donation buttons.

It might not be a complete pointed message/topic but it might be a constructive start in achieving what we as existing and new users still desire in a website that has already previousley achieved that without our request - so lets support it!

I agree with the idea but... It needs to be simpler. In other words...

A reverse of what it is now. Instead of having to wade through all of
your files and enable download, you should simply have the option
to select it if you "dont" want a particular item to be downloaded!!

I spent at least an hour going through all of my stuff ticking the ok
for download box and... Thats not funny. Its daft!!!

The idea is good but.. The Esnips theory sucks on what the default should be!!

I know Tony,
the idea is simple - i agree!

If you can try and post a link to as many people as possible - the more i agree/feedback the better - lets try and get it sorted!

To be really honest.. I dont think that posting links is the answere.

But... Sending mail to Esnips support might be?!!! (yeh right) LOL!!!

Im fed up with lonnie and silent bob just popping in here and there
and posting us all about all of the "great" Esnips changes!!!

Then we all make a point just like this one and......

Its like that.. Thats the way it is!!!!

Nothing CHANGES!!! ho.. hum!!

Why should I spend hours enabling my files for download, when they originally where available for download?????

Esnips did this fuck up..... esnips can fix it as well!

I'm not going to spend hours doing the job, a simple query could do....
