sorry to be a party pooper, but yes i can match the beauty of man made structures, stone, concrete, steel and *shiver* incondesant lights.

its called nature (or as i like to call it mother nature)

nothing man can make can even begin to rival the great construct of God.

Never the less, you have a good collection of somewhat preaty places. some USM (or other sharpening tool) would be nice, and some more saturated color, maybe take pictures on a sunny day

Depends what you're shooting. The majority of photography isn't better on a sunny day, the light is too harsh, the shadows too pronounced, and the vertical angle of light brings out no contours or texture.

Landscape especially shouldn't be shot on a sunny day, unless it's early in the morning or late in the evening.

Try to take picture when the sun is about 40 to 60 degree angle ... 45 is better.

Or you can use reflector ... something that can bounce sunlight
