As promised, I've compiled a list of websites for downloading free/shareware Graphic Design/Animation and Photo Editing Software.

I love my free photo editing software - my number one favorites is GIMP 2.4 from http://www.gimp.org/ which lets you use Photoshop filters, brushes and even make animations.

I also like IrfanView - which has an easy and fast batch processing tool if you need to make a change to a big bunch of images at once - it works great.

Adobe has an online version of their photoshop elements you can use for free. I've heard it is really good. I don't know the address, but I'll guess you can find it if you head over to www.adobe.com

Click on the freeware tab when you get there. Very nice selection of graphic editors.

Free 3d animation software. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you can create static 3d graphics. It is not just for animation.

paint.NET.Excellent freeware for photo editing and graphic creation.
Check out the forum for tutorials and plug -ins.

A+ Freeware. Nice collection of graphic and photo editing freeware.

Photo Filtre. The freeware version is like the Studio version. Only difference is, 8bf plugins can't be used with the freeware version, however, you can get nice photo / graphics editing and creation results with the effects and filters that come with the freeware version.
