From my perspective, it is important to approach this in two ways.
Firstly, if you haven't already, definitely seek medical help through your local GP and possibly a specialist, or a counsellor.
Secondly, prayer and reading the Holy Writings from the religion in which you believe should hopefully help.
Here's one of my favourite prayers from The Baha'i Faith which is considered to be endowed with a special strength:
"Is there any Remover of difficulties save God? Say: Praised be God! He is God! All are His servants, and all abide by His bidding!
-The Bab
Also, there has been presented additional instruction regarding the recitation of this prayer if your troubles are particularly significant:
"Tell them to repeat it five hundred times, nay, a thousand times, by day and by night, sleeping and waking, that haply the Countenance of Glory may be unveiled to their eyes, and tiers of light descend upon them"
Another prayer which is considered in the Baha'i Faith to be particularly strong is the Tablet of Ahmad. As this is quite a long prayer, I won't copy it here but encourage you to look at it here: http://reference.bahai.org/en/t/c/BP/bp-173.html
Here's some pointers to help you solve problems through prayer:
1. Pray and meditate about it. Use the prayers of the Mainfestations of God (Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, The Bab, Baha'u'llah, Moses etc) as they have the greatest power. Then remain in the silence of contemplation for a few minutes.
2.Arrive at a decision and hold this. This decision is usually born during the contemplation.
3. Have determination to carry the decision through. Many fail here.
4. Have faith and confidence that the power will flow through you and the right way will appear.Have confidence that the right thing will come to your need.
5. Act as though it had all been answered. Then act with tireless, ceaseless energy.
Hope that all helped! Feel free ask me anytime about anything about what I said...
Best wishes
