Hello I am new here and I was just wondering where is everyone going to record the songs they sung on here? I dont see anywhere to do that but I would REALLY love to.

karen it depends on what your wanting to do exactly, theres software you can use audacity is ok to start off and is free but you will need to load backing tracks in and mix your own vocals etc...if its just singing along to music and recording at the same time then singsnap ive been told is ok although after 1 attempt myself found it poor quality and bland sounding but thats just my opinion others swear by it....

if you really want to get into your recordings then get software such as cool edit, adobe audition, cubase etc etc but it takes time to learn how these programs work to get the best mixes and might just blow ya brains for a while hehe there are a lot of programs out there it just depends on how professional sounding you want to get or if your just wanting something quick simple etc then go and have a look at singsnap see if thats what you mean.

Genise does cool edit still update now it is adobe audition have they dropped cool edit all together

ian i honestly dont know i have a version of cool edit i still use from time to time for certain filters or effects i want which are different to those of adobe.

Well... the only CE "update" is Audition itself. Did effects actually get dropped? I noticed some handy presets for things like full reverb disappeared, but that's all.
