ah well. I have tried 3 times to upload a replacement file but I can't get it to finish without failing.
I did try to rectify my mistake but it looks like you'll just have to put up with it unfortunately.

Really that 20 seconds was the ending of the last tune anyway. I let it play till the end, which is a good ending for a mix; but for the basis of the competition, please try and imagine that it fades out quicker than that.

Very frustrating. I get this issue all the time with eSnips, at home or at work. It just takes forever to upload a file. And you can't do anything whilst it's happening. Don't browse the internet, don't run and application, don't use the mouse, don't sneeze, don't burp, definately don't fart!
I mean come on, where are your servers based? Mongolia?

Ho hum.

I don't have these issues. I can both fart, burp and use the mouse while uploading. I can even have a can of pepsi and it doesn't interfere with my internet connection. I don't know, maybe I'm just blessed with good luck and bad habits.... I don't know...

I can't stop thinking that the issues might have something to do with your system.... how much ram do you have? How powerful are the processor? How fast is your internet connection ?

hey d00d,

My machines are fine. I've actually tried to upload from several different locations and had issues with slow speeds and dropouts, hence why I started bitching about it. My home conx is ADSL2 so unless ports need to be opened specifically for the esnips client, it won't be that.

I think it must have just been something going on with the Pacific connection earlier. I managed to upload one file and update my submitted mix later thisavo without any issues.
Must have been a glitch in the Matrix.

SO! My mix is now cut to under 15 minutes (phew!). Have a listen if you like.

Sorry for all the spam posts. I could delete all the rubbish if someone told me how to or whether I would be allowed to, of course. LOL.

U're rite, the ul is a bit slow, but keep in mind u got the whole shit here for free, so don't u whine that much m8. Besides, when u uploading just minimize the window and do wutevah u want. U can even open ur net-browser again and surf. Besides, I think u talk a bit too hard and don't offend other nations. [No ofence m8] Stay cool

np m8 ;) And about your 20 secs: in my oppinion it really should not be an issue cuz majority of us here keep our stuff under the 15 min limit, so if several people exceeded it 20-30 secs it wouldn't have a big impact on the whole. But... it's not us who makes rulez here )) Greetz Ben and all musicmakers.

Check my junk out ;)))

Ben I did not think you were being bitchy or racist, with the spin off a lot more people are taxing the esnips servers. I have on occasion had the same problem, but after waiting to a later time had no problem uploading. Nice mix by the way. No worries the DJC is all about positive vibes man. Best of Luck to you in the Spin Off.

Roman have a good listen to some of the mixes in the Spin Off. I would say this about the 15 minute limit in this case "LESS IS MORE". It is all about the creativity.

as mikesuede said, the servers seem to be getting hammered at the moment. I tried to listen to SuperTooters mix but it just wn't play right now. It's almost like trying to listen to a new Micah set on Hybridised!
Great name by the way.

Oh, I should have mentioend this before - I live in Australia, so half the prolems I'm having may be distance issues. <shrugs> But it might not be.
I usually take a glance out the front of the house to check if there are any telco vans ripping up the road when the internet goes pear shaped.

Feel the beat yaw!!
