Do I detect a hint of sarcasm. Well above are links to my electronic music podcast in the form of a mix. So thought it would fit well here in the DJ forum.

Apart from that i used to use esnips for hosting but it's shite for that and as i still have an account sometimes call by for a nosey.

Have you noticed the improvements to esnips , the growth of the DJ community. Yes it is still a work in progress but one of if not the best in its class. Even you have come to promote your podcast. HHHMMMM can't be that much of shite if you are here now is it.

Shite for hosting i meant, as a community it seems pretty cool. But you can't hotlink to your mp3's from other blogs flashplayers etc.

When i used esnips the first time i couldn't upload mixes as the files were too large without the esnips toolbar and as a mac user i couldn't get the esnips toolbar.

To be honest, that was a long time ago and maybe it's available now, but i have my own hosting now and just use that for my music storage and then put posts in forums etc instead of having to upload to lots of different communities servers.

Mez I understand although I am Pro Mac I am anti ipod and itunes. How old is your mac? Have you tried virtual PC on your mac that could remedy the incompatibility issues with Esnips.

Naa, i never use pc software and have my own hosting and domain now, i just wanted to use esnips to host some mixes, ages ago now.

I have a macbook pro with intel so i could use bootcamp to run xp but i don't want to because i hate pc's and windows.

I just use my mac mainly for making tracks using logic 7 and reaktor 5, occasionally use traktor for mixing my own tracks into a set but mostly mix with vinyl. Need to get ableton and maybe serato but funds are tight at the mo.

Serato is the industry standard over here but I use Torq because I like to think I am a rebel. Torq was half the price but had to overclock everything to get it up to speed.
