I know you hear me knocking, why won't you let me in?
You know the danger we are fleeing from is really near
The stalker is so close now, you save yourself and send me to death's den?
I knock so hard, my knuckles they bleed, as my entire being is engulfed by fear.

The wind makes some leaves rustle, making me look over my shoulder
There is even thunder and lightning, really setting the scene for something sinister
I stand here frozen with fear, my legs, they feel heavy like a boulder
You won't open the door, when you know something sinister is about to occur.

Why have you abandoned me, you my husband, don't you love me any more?
I stand here, in the pouring rain, as I try to make sense of this
I don't know what was chasing us, maybe it was a bear
If something happened to me, wouldn't I be missed?

I hear footsteps as they draw near,why won't you let me in?
Leaving me here in the darkness, all by myself
The footsteps draw closer, I know something sinister is about to begin
I'm beating the door now, certainly not for my heath.

Standing here, all sorts of things start running through my mind
I hear the foot steps, by now they are very near
No where to run, no where to hide, making me a very easy find
With my back to the wind, I know he is very near.

Soon I have no need to fear, something sinister, is now right behind me
He grabs me chocking me until I breath no more
I'm above my body, as I see you open the door, you seem to be as happy as can be
I hear you say." A job well done!" With my money in your hands, you can pay my killer evens more.

Lanaia, woman (?) of mystery, leaping out of the dark with her keyboard and words, shattering illusions of calm.....who are you Lanaia?...where do you come from....?

i knewd that in a poem(Hell on Earth),was about a little girl,something...a little girl ,could define a woman who now,through words,use keys?! beauty and fantasy,but also,parts,interrelated,from a reality..something lost,under the key-words of a poem..a child,a life as was dreamed since childhood...i have deep respect for those who share thought beyound their poem's words..and,that little story with Octavian, that i mentioned it in the after-poem,indeed,has a link with.. i hope that that "little story",ballanced a bit,something..hope that her memories from past not make her sad!i'll say a pray for!
..only now i understod more,when i saw that post..i followed the link..and,indeed,i also have now for what to thank her..so,thanks to u Lonnie,and thanks to you,Lanaia,1th of all,for ur poems,and 2d,for providing that link!
