This person claims to have cancer and no relatives and asks to send details of your address and name in order to receive a box containing money. Please track down this user before deleting his/her account.

I played this user on a bit to see what would happen.. It's a very clever scam, everything is explained in detail.. get rid of this user before somebody falls for it.

I would like to disable folder comments but I coldn't find a way to do it.
The 'comment' stays disponible to you until is needed to build a workaround.

If they are in your folders just go to it and delete there
there is a delete button there

i too have had the same person leaving links to free ringtones as comments on my folders. Sure you can delete them, but I wish E Snips would make the necessary change to add the option to at least approve comments before they are posted to avoid this. It's getting tiresome disabling spam comments.

There is an option to approve in your folder settings [Sharing Preferences]

I did see the 'sharing preferences' yesterday when I was looking for a way to prevent comments, but if I don't share my folders, then others can't see them or download from them, correct? So that is not a feasible solution.

Look in the Sharing Preferences of your folder

Please forgive my ignorance, but I looked in the preferences of one individual folder and saw no option to control comments. Here is what I saw:

Folder Name, Description, Folder Tags, Folder Display Settings
Default Folder View Number of Posts to Show Folder Icon
Folder Color Schemes

I saw an option to list the folder view, thumbnail, one by one or details,
Number of single posts to show, it's set at single, was set at 5, and folder icon. That's all I saw. When I click the sharing preferences all I see is Allow anyone on the Internet to access this folder using this web address:...
am I missing it or not understanding the options correctly? I want my files to remain publicly accessible, though. Thanks for your patience.

Go to your public folder It must have some one invited to it to show the options press Sharing Preferences and you should see some drop down boxes with different options

I have had the same scammer with the ringtones too. BUT now I am getting pornographic type comments from moneyxxx is the user name, is there anything I can do to turn off the comment section or block this user????? HELP! It is embarrassing to have that stuff on there.
