...Listen up, this should be/IS easy to fix and done within minutes, no excuse$$$. Just say what you mean, and mean what you say, and unless its a contract, let people know if you've changed your POV. Its not like whomever owns this site doesn't see it. Its just a matter of priority and where we (all) fit.

My 2 cents:
I personally don't care if someone is uploading porn to this site. I DO care about r-rated ads running down the side of my folders. I can just not visit the offensive files, but I can't stop the ads from showing with my artwork. Actually, I think uploading other people's copyrighted stuff is more of an issue, even if its porn. I don't have a problem at all with people uploading their own porno pic and vids of themselves and showing the world their character. Actually, I prefer that type of honesty, as compared to child molesters in catholic vestments.

You are not an animaTOR... nor are the other top listed ones, and we that are Animators are pushed out... That's the problem. Your site has been used as a reference in several forums. Your very impressive collection of (admittedly) unoriginal stuff completely overwhelms the tagging system when it comes to Animators like me (who actually make the kinds of stuff you post) from being featured. Again, it not your fault; because you are well within the eSnips premise of "file sharing" as opposed to posting original work. Its Alexander's Knot! A Conundrum. Your site received my sarcasm, because I was looking for new animation inspiration from the site's top animators.. and that links go to you!... and a bunch of others who don't create animation.

As we are the originators of the art we show, we use this site as a place to send our clients, and the glitch that sends them to your site instead affects me in a negative way, and unless I say something it is not heard. If I say it too polite, then you will not appreciate the degree of angst you (are not meaning to) cause.

....and then animaTORS with their latest work can be featured in the animation community banner, like advertising. with a different priority than latest scan uploaded from my comic book collection. Perhaps the next step from eSnips Beta will be eSnips Pro.

Girl! You are on the ball! I think I need not do any more whining. My inability to get (my) original works to show in competition with "shared downloads" of non-original and often copy-righted stuff is the source of my eAngst (fbakht44 is an example), and now you and the staff see it, and are on it.

Consider the difference between animaTORS and animation and anime, and not being able to be in any of them simultaniously. That is not to say that within the animaTORS community, there may be those who style is anime. Haveing an animaTORS community here, with all the features of the other communities might fix it, same for music/musicians/DJs PICK ONE ONLY. eSnips is so Open (a good thing) that the distinction is uneven between a world class animator and a kid in Kuala Lampur with a zillion cartoon characters and so controls several of a communities' features. With just a couple exclusive communities, one could look for Artists and Musicians and Composers, Poets, Reanimators (like yourself) as opposed to animation, Graphic Design and the generic music tags. TahDah!

So I go visit some of the featured animations and their folders, and I really don't know what kind of comment to leave.. "Great stuff somebody else did, way to collect someone else's stuff dude. I am soooo impressed. You get all the credit. WTG!! Man, you sure can download and repost! And there is NEVER any credit as to what site the stuff was downloaded from. Arrrrgh, Ahoy Pirates!" About the only scale one can use is the degree of graphic piracy.

I mean, if I want hits on my site, I have to go and leave comments on others' sites. And who wants my downbeat message? Should I just cut and paste a"Oh, this site is so nice, Thank you and jesus bless you" or some mindless crap like that, just to get comments? .... grrrrr

IF eSnips took the same measures with graphics that they did with music.... LOLOLOLOLOL... Guess we don't count as much as the musicians.. or have the bucks to effect OUR integrity.
