Taking life by the big toe Has this life been so bad that I would beg for no more or could I lie awake here in my bed and beg for more......(IP) a day begins with the moon on one side of me and the sun on the other ...... (LH) while some people have decided and I lay here to wither!...........(Prashu) Or shall I dream of happier days of only yesterday........(IP) of the first cloud I ever had seen, or the first teacher in the school I had been!...(Prashu) Shall we end in old school, days long past. We have a choice to blow our minds with a poem that will last....(Shirley) if such strength in friendship be, we need our hearts to set us free...(shinigami_sango) we need each other to help and support us all the way through. the toughest times of our lives........(Vimes) The shadows of the universe crumble on me As I find ways to fight and break free ...(REALCHIC) I like to stare at the stars for a long time wandering if there will be a sign........(PETS FOR PEACE) And then i sense the stillness wane though endless thoughts i entertain......(OdedMusic) And when i listen to the wind through the window I begin to believe there is no sorrow......(PETS FOR PEACE) But when the night comes down on me I cry so hard, and feel so hollow.......(dr_mohamedmoussa) Where is the peace I seek? (Prasad) he sharpest of my sword they will find, This battle is so much filled with blood. .....(Prasad) Never seen any battle of its kind, I am possessed by the ghost of death. ..(Prasad) My enemies’ death is the only thought in my mind, Will wash the pain of my queen and men..... (Prasad) With the over flowing river of blood, Seeing me in the battle, the enemies make a run.... (Prasad) In the battle you are the hero, the victor A great honor to our land, to our people Choosing you my love, my life and soul The heavens decide you're worth your thrown....( myangel168) The land, the castle and the queen now awaits the coming of the king With flags up high, though some many a brothers fall in that war They were heroes like my king and some celebration for the victors Was prepared to glory and honor the coming of my king and the battalions.....( myangel168) With glory and honour..we embrace love and peace. Yes I do agree that two lines aren't really enough to express yourself well. I friend and I some times write poems together.. The first initiates a poem..then the second takes inspiration from it and joins it in the middle then continues it with his own lines. And so on..always joining the poem around the middle of the person before, taking inspiration and moving it forward. Maybe it's something we could do in the future Ian. :) KarenH-H

two lines is nice and snappy I find it ok, but we should try to take on board the previous lines and make it organicaly grow where it will...... I love this thread! If you do start one with more lines tho' I'll well be on there too. brilliant suggestions jx

The curtains were swaying touching my face It creates itch that I can't help but tap my cheek A whisper silently reach my ears and was scared It seemed like cold breath, I was frightened. I opened my eyes and shout a loud as I could Screaming but no one seemed to have heard Asking for help, think I am alone my mind said The cold breath still here inside my head I felt.
