harlow people. as you probably know, i have another topic that tells you how to download by going to esnipsdownload then copying and pasting dardi dardi da. but i actually use the nsdoc way more for faster song downloading ==' but THEN!! DUN DUN!! it doesn't work anymore... so most of you people type 'nsdoc' into somewhere into the URL then suddenly, windows media pops up and plays it. right? well, heres another way. try it and see if it works. STEP 1: as usual, play the song you want to download then change the 'doc' into 'nsdoc' in the URL. example: BEFORE: http://www.esnips.com/doc/de0406a5-9b0e-4df0-9b04-af7f8f4f530d/Alice-Nine---Blue-Planet AFTER: http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/de0406a5-9b0e-4df0-9b04-af7f8f4f530d/Alice-Nine---Blue-Planet STEP2: at the END of the url, you should see the song name, like this: http://www.esnips.com/doc/de0406a5-9b0e-4df0-9b04-af7f8f4f530d/Alice-Nine---Blue-Planet backspace the stuff highlighted in bold and type in: ?action=forceDL it should look alittle something like this: http://www.esnips.com/doc/de0406a5-9b0e-4df0-9b04-af7f8f4f530d/?action=forceDL then press enter as usual. if it doesn't work, tell me and i'll try work out what went wrong ^^ and yeah, there are some other smart people that do the right click on the player then copying the location URL then pasting it into the address bar. but this is just one of them =D oh yeah, one more thing. if you try and download with this way and the screen just goes blank, its probably coz the songs stuffed or something.. hope that helpss! jrock<3

Help me pls. I was using the traditional process to download music by pasting the link to the address bar of esnipsdownload.com but now its not working anymore. :( :( :( it just open a windows media player and a message pop out to say it cannot play the file! :( i tried the nsdoc thing. it doesnt work though the status bar says its loading, nothing happens. huhuhu :cry: :cry:

It is not esnips stopping you down load it is the owners of the files they have not enabled them why not just ask them to enable its much easier than all the skulduggery methods that usually have a flaw in them somewhere

The nsdoc way stills work... if it opens your mediaplayer instead of downloading is becouse your system is configured that way. You must revert your config so when you click an mp3 link or when you type an mp3 url at the address bar it asks you if you want to download or if you want to open it from the original location. If you don't know how to do that in IExplorer then download Firefox and install it, then browse to the song you want to download with firefox and do the nsdoc thing... BUT DON'T click the "always do this for this kind of files" thing...

Well, there are other ways to do it... maybe if you use SmartSniff you can find it out... I'll post the other way later, I'm at my office right now =P and if they catch me doing other stuff not related to my job, well... Anyways, I'll post the other way later, or if you want to find it out by yourself post it please =P... it's good to have more than one just in case =)

Sorry 'bout the double post, but maybe some one will not beliebe I'm able to download music from esnips... Well, click this link http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/a0a962a0-bdd8-4779-90eb-0bbb9cdc31f5/ts_id/1205793172375/ns_flash/file1.mp3 and check it out by yourself, or copy and paste it on your web browser, it should allow you to download it :P I'll teach you how to generate the download link latter... the only problem will be that the files has no name... they're just like 1.mp3, 2.mp3, etc... That one is the endinf theme from the Lunia videogame... enjoy...

Don't worry, I'm working on a new way... you can still download the music if you sniff the connection (by using smart sniff) and then you must look for 1.mp3 in the TCP/IP stream report comming from e-snips... then only copy the full adress in your adress bar and voilá... you'll be able to download the file... (Check my earlier post for an example)

Ok, ok, here's the trick... I decompiled the player and the "ID" is just a random number xD LOL... To download a file you must do this: Let's take the Rihana song for an example, the adress is this: http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/8ed63b49-300e-4ac6-99a2-ead129f20fac/action=forceDL As you can see, you can't download by using that method :( , but you can modify the adress like this http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/8ed63b49-300e-4ac6-99a2-ead129f20fac/ts_id/1205795172796/ns_flash/file1.mp3 And now you can download again :D HAPPY DOWNLOADING!!! Ahem... *credits*... ahem... Man, it's just fishy you created a link generator after I posted the method on how to download from e-snips... Anyways, you can say it's your method, you found it yourself, blah blah blah... but check out my earlier post... you can at least gimme some credit... But... oh well... you have not solved the bandwidth problem yet... I know how to bypass that and download forever with no restrictions... it's just I dont want somebody creates an "Unlimited Esnips Downloader" and gimme no credit... so if somebody wants to create it (by somebody I mean YOU) you have to figure it out by yourself... obviously, if you used my earlier post as a base to create your link generator then you wont find the way to bypass the bandwidth limit... if you did it by yourself (I mean, the sniffing thing, flash decompiling and that stuff) then I'm pretty sure that in about 5 minutes youll have your esnips dwnloader updated into the brand new "Esnips Downloader Unlimited" :mrgreen:

I was goin to explain how to bypass the bandwidth thing... but since the other guy took my post to create his new Esnips Downloader and gave me no credit I think I'll keep the No Download Limit for myself. Sorry man, you'll have to wait till tomorrow to download. Sorry, all I wanted was a simple "Thanks to Mavil for finding the new link" so ask him for the bypass method... after all he gave me no credit... maybe he found the new link by himself... so he must know how to download with no bandwidth limits. :evil:

Hi Mavil, Don't get put off if I implemented the new code in the downloader. I swear I did not read your post before doing that. I got this code by playing a file to it's full length, going to the Temporary Internet Files folder, right clicking the file > properties. The file in question was : http://www.esnips.com/doc/93aa60c1-bec7-4b47-be0c-396c68ae0c26/Kaushiki-Chakrabarty--Ganesh-Vandana and the code I got from the cache : http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/93aa60c1-bec7-4b47-be0c-396c68ae0c26/ts_id/1205685142177/ns_flash/file1.mp3 I knew it had something to do with eSnips changing it's default player. I have been into all this for a few months now and I don't deserve such a rude remark from someone who is also into this i.e. outwitting eSnips for every step it takes to prevent users from downloading. Why can't we call it a truce and work with each other. Me and I am sure you too, are not gaining anything from all this. This is a community site and let's not fight but co-operate with each other. mmm... ok, no problem man... since we bot used diferent methods it's ok... heres something you may want to implement on your script: The big number between ts_id and ns_flash is used to control something in the downloads... the flash player generates a random number between 0 and 10000000000000 each time it calls the file and adds this number to a variable called "ID"... if you download the file or play it too much by using the same ID or no ID in a row then it shows the message "Bandwidth limit blah blah blah"... I just discovered that... maybe you want to add a random number generator to your script instead of deleting the number from the address... that way the server will think your are indeed playin' the file in the flash player instead of downloading it :) ... I could do it myself but you already have done a big part with your downloader. Well, hope this helps you to bypass the download limit thing :) C'ya PS. By the way, the 1.mp3 file is just a copy of the original file you uploaded... the original file is in the server too but in other adress... in fact the ?action=forceDL method should work... it doesnt work 'couse you need the actions in the page on screen... so you could also inject that code into a page that doesn't shows the Download button... then you would be downloading the file you uploaded instead of the copy generated by the server for the flashplayer... :? man, sometimes my english sucks :mrgreen:

You don't need to be hacker to find that link.. just using simple softwares like Orbit Downloader will do... Anyway, why do you guys always post this METHODS publicly in this forum ?? Do you know how problematic it will be if they added more security features?? Plus posting this stuff publicly like this won't get you any THANKS/RECOGNITION... There is only one esnips good or bad it will do for me I have never had a problem downloading when I want some thing . I just ask them to enable only ever got refused once and that not bad really

Anyone with Firefox can just as easily use DownloadHelper or other add-ons like it to get these files. That's what I do.

got one. do the normal nsdoc + add this to the end ns_flash/file1.mp3 so http://www.esnips.com/doc/c68edaff-eca9-4433-9797ae1517944ff1/Big-Bang---Goodbye-Baby remove the ending where its like Big-bang---goodbye-baby and add in the ns_flash/file1.mp3 so it becomes http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/c68edaff-eca9-4433-9797ae1517944ff1/_flash/file1.mp3

I dont give a damn abt esnips .. users complained my tricks were not working so I created the link generator .. it merely took 15 mins to create the generator .. any body with an IQ of 18 and some knowledge of web apps can do this .. its not a big deal

Why do you think other people are not smart enough to follow a little tutorial??? why they need to use a Link generator from you? Users never complained my tricks where not working. Any body with some knowledge of web apps can do this... that's true, but most of the people in here doesn't even know what a web app is... "All of us are ignorants but not everyone ignores the same things"... so I just gide'em in the right direction... in fact, by reding my posts they can easily learn how to create theyr own download links... by using your link generator all they learn is how to "copy & paste"... By the way... why do you ask something like that? didn't you created a full post explaining the importance of the ID number and how is it generated?? and about the .js file?? @Mavil I wrote that post for u .. not for people .. I deliver things .. ppl ask a lots of question when I explain them the tricks and I seriously have less time to explain things .. you stuff works .. thats right .. I never said your stuff doesn't work .. but I protested about the ID number .. and that not an ID number you are again wrong .. its getTime() ok .. most of esnips users dont understand programming and all they need is a way to download songs .. using the generator saves time dont u think so?? who so ever interested to know about the trick can read my other post .. which is very clear ..

Lol. I used to download songs using the old method. "ns". 3 months ago. THe only PERMANENT solution for our problems would be IF YALL drive traffic to this post and tell the people how to ENABLE their songs for DOWNLOAD. Esnips doesnt have a problem with that. =]

I guess there is problem going on with your browser. If you are using FireFox or IE, close it and download OPERA. Once you have download opera. install it and tehn try downloading your files. :wink: good luck! :wink:

You can use the Downloadhelper addon for firefox to download pretty much anything. downloadhelper.net it works by dumping the cache of the file in the open tab and giving the user a save as option. hope this helps.

There is much more simple way. If you have FireFox browser (if not : http://www.mozilla.com/ ) Then you have to download one plug in (download helper) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006 and that's it! When the balls get colored and start to move it means you have something to download. It's so simple that even 6 year old kid can handle it.

Mavil, When I make the change to the URL - doc to nsdoc and replacing song name with /ts_id/1205793172375/ns_flash/file1.mp3 - and press enter, the URL reverts to original - doc and song name - and starts to play in esnips media player, no download possibility.
