i tried to put a mp3 player on my myspace page but when i go to it it doesnt autoplay. can anyone help? :cry:

Well, Autoplay is the only reason i used this damn site. I have no use for it, if it wont autoplay. They fucked themselves on that one. idiots.

Well not really because if that is the only reason you are here why hang about should I cancel your account or are you just blowing off a little frustration I know it is a pain to press the play button and there are not many people out there who know how to do this so if it helps we can post a set of instructions on how to press the play button now that is being sarcastic we do have problems with bandwidth issues on auto play and it will be resolved but things take time .and has soon has I know any thing I will post it so please bare with us for the time being

You only joined two days ago you have not really got to grips with the way things work here . there is no auto play on the widgets but if you press play it works fine give it a couple of weeks and if you are still of the same mind we will fulfill your request

My experience recently wont allow me to play anything.. I upload the track and even if you press play the tracks wont start... I was able one time to upload a musical track I created and play it successfully, ever since bubkas.. If this is simply a user error on my part let me know... Aside from also being denied uploading my own work due to copyright infringments its beginning to seem like more of a hassle than necessary... Ultimately it seems this should be win win for everyone.. If users can direct people to your site to visit our work, you can tatter the site full of advertisements and make boatloads of cash... I'll be a sport and give it couple more goes but other than that Im wasting my time... Mossotti

OK try this upload to a private folder and the move to your public folder if it still does not play post me a link here and I will take a look and if there is a problem I will speak to tech support for you .

At this point man, I am not able to create folders to upload anything... Anytime I attempt to create a folder it fails... Mossotti Have you tried to make a private folder yet

I don' believe! And I don't understood why the auto play is off. It's a problem or a choose? If it is a choose, it is a thought of a donkey. Auto play yes ou no give differents effects in our page. The choose should be mine and not of other person.

Auto play has been switched of due to bandwidth issues and will not be resolved till the issues are sorted

Is there a reason why the players are not playing at all? Seems that no matter what song I choose...I get nothing but silence. I have even made sure that "play" was on, and that my comp's volume was on.. Still.. NOTHING! If I can't even listen to music on this site (which is hard enough due to those annoying audio ads), then what is the sense of even using eSnips? I may as well look for another site to do what this site USED to do.

To Ian Paul, Yes, clicking the play button is easy, but an embedded playlist that doesn't automatically play is like a video that has the "mute" button turned on, it kind of loses its effect...not to mention that the viewer has to find the playlist...btw, even if we find the playlist and click on Play, it still might not play(!), like right now...hmmm...more bandwidth problems?

I recommend you all make this happen, its only a suggestion, because I found the ease of use to bring my mixes to the internet is AWESOME but now for it not to autoplay could be your destruction for repeat use/users. Do you think myspace said we wont give autoplay or limit the pictures and useability of our site? They were smart and said give the people what they want and look at TOMMY today, a millionaire, heading for billionaire status! Just my two pennies, your stuff is great, but we want GREATER! Yeah, I can't hear any music now, even the songs that used to work perfectly fine. Same with the songs I've uploaded here and used as widgets on other sites, those widgets won't play either. Is it us, or is there an error throughout this website?

post a link to the files that will not play and I will take a look . the widgets I have posted to other sites seem to be working fine

I'm sure my volume is fine too, because I've heard other music from my laptop's media players work before trying these. Everything's fine on my computer, but music from this site won't work for me.

It must be something on your system I hear both tracks if you are using IE try FireFox that is what I am using I don't know what else to tell you

Hm... I've recently switched from FireFox to Opera as my usual web browser, but it looks like FireFox is the only one of my browsers that plays music from here. Thanks, man. ^ ^

If one can't get autoplay, can I at least have background sounds on my site, even if means limiting the file to a few Megs., and using the WMP plugin... :shock: Options? Solutions? I've been looking EVERYWHERE --haven't been able to get google.sites to hotlink audio, there has to be a way! :roll:

Autoplay does work on widgets post to your page on esnips just not on other sites

ya this no 'autoplay' does suck. i have been a member for 2 years or longer and its been almost a year without autoplay. so when are the issues going to be resolved? and whats with the 'copyright protected' crap? i upload mixes i make myself on turntables and its still telling me its copyright protected and im the one who just made it. i even tried uploading a blank sound file that was 2.5 minutes long and wasn't able to. whats the use of having 'public' folders when i cant use them? its getting ridiculous uploading music files that wont go and that i pay for music and own the right to have the song yet i cant upload it. pick up the slack esnips and fix your crap that checks songs cuz its waaayy off. glad i never spent a dime on this site or i would be pissed, im just annoyed right now that i have to run my other comp as a web-server just to share music on myspace. lame

Until bandwidth issues have been sorted out preventing other websites leaching Esnips bandwidth the autoplay will not return Just add a note to site telling visitors to press play
