Hello everyone As promised, I've compiled a list of websites for downloading free/shareware Graphic Design/Animation and Photo Editing Software. I hope you'll enjoy looking through the web sites. I've seen lots of software that I'm interested in.lol. Please enjoy them. Now it's your turn....Feel free to add to this list. If you find some software that you like please let the rest of us know about it. Write a small review telling us what appeals to you about it and all the pro's and cons. Hi thanks for the info. I love my free photo editing software - my number one favorites is GIMP 2.4 from http://www.gimp.org/ which lets you use Photoshop filters, brushes and even make animations. I also like IrfanView - which has an easy and fast batch processing tool if you need to make a change to a big bunch of images at once - it works great. http://www.irfanview.com/

Adobe has an online version of their photoshop elements you can use for free. I've heard it is really good. I don't know the address, but I'll guess you can find it if you head over to www.adobe.com

www.snapfiles.com Click on the freeware tab when you get there. Very nice selection of graphic editors. www.anim8or.com/main/index.html Free 3d animation software. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you can create static 3d graphics. It is not just for animation. www.getpaint.net/index.html paint.NET.Excellent freeware for photo editing and graphic creation. Check out the forum for tutorials and plug -ins. www.aplusfreeware.com/ A+ Freeware. Nice collection of graphic and photo editing freeware. www.photofiltre.com/ Photo Filtre. The freeware version is like the Studio version. Only difference is, 8bf plugins can't be used with the freeware version, however, you can get nice photo / graphics editing and creation results with the effects and filters that come with the freeware version. It's always full of information and advice about popular editing software etc..

There are numerous places on the web that either have software or have online image framers. Try putting "free online image framer" into your Google search bar.
