With reference to my last post here... http://forum.esnips.com/posts/list/9146.page I would like to ask if any of the DJ's and remixers as well as anyone else who shares here on esnips if they would like an account of file downloads by the public in general, in other words - not just by esnips members! Maybe it would be an idea if it appeared alongside the views and favs tags on the file(s) list in your folders, what do you think? If we get enough of a poll together then maybe esnips might just grant this request so........ Any comments and/or input is very welcomed. Remember.... Your ideas and votes count!! Thanx. AMR :D

Yes I would be interested. I post my mixes on myspace with a widget from esnips. and i would love to be able to also add a download link to that mix even if the downloader has a account here or not. Im all for it. :)

I would like to thank everyone so far and, yes mike.. Your help as an esnips modorator would boost this important but most basic issue. You can already see from a few posts that users already use esnips links and players etc so... Lets be fair to them and make what should be mportant issue by doing them and myself this favour. I know that most of us dont really care but... It still remains true that - We (all of us) would be proud to know that someone out there liked our work that much that they would want to keep it!! I would also like to add that although i use the esnips widgets and players on other sites such as"TAGGED" well,they DONT always seem to work(play) or the player doesnt display the files(track names)...But,YES,i still like the idea of a "DOWNLOAD COUNTER" :thumbup:

I dont think ESNIPS's programmer can make it happen and /or the management will approve it. So many votes have been made and so many complains have been spoken, but non of them are approved....they just became some junk of argumentation in this forum...(I hope you guyz understand my english). If Esnips really want to keep us as their member, you don't have to make a poll like this. all they have to do is just read all positive criticism /complain and work it out. Therefore, none of member are fighting each other for nothing in this forum. And you know what?..the counter's feature is a standard feature for a site like this,..it should be exist before you make a vote for this. So far the input has been fair to say the least however... It is still pretty poor compared to what it actually could be. This perhaps in many ways says a lot about how much people really do care and the fact that esnips is no longer as much a popular site as it once was. Threats of the kind "we will go elsewhere" and negitive input are of the kind that will get you absoloutly nowhere. Perhaps we should realize and respect that - if anyone is going to help bring back esnips to the playing field then... It will be (us) its users and no one else by making points like this!! I agree that the download count feature should have been common place from the start but... It wasn't so - instead of pointing out the obvious for us all to latch onto and argue about, lets just forget that and remember what this is really all about? Like I have already said. I am no moderator.. I am just simply an esnips member asking a simple question that requires a simple answer.... In the end... It is up to you and your feelings about your passion(s) - If you care enough then its simple.... Ok... Apart from all of the usual back stabbing and normal esnips arguing etc that I now just let go over my head.... Did you (any of you) recieve an Email from Esnips about the fact that... ESNIPS IS BACK!!! If you did then - what do you think and.... Do you think that it'll help lol!!! On the other hand... We're all still asking for this one small favour (left out may I add in the great esnips upgrade) to be granted... Is it me or what!! ...Dosn't anyone in the esnips staff canteen or anywhere listen to any of us? I can only guess that the cream cakes must be really good because... Nothings happning here!! What about an update for folders styles or wallpapers or layouts etc etc, I mean.. How old is all of that when it sooooooooo is in need of a refresh!! i told what is my oppinion earlier in that post.. ive said that people are so dissapointed by esnips,than,they dont vote for the download counter,when they had so many problems and when said,esnips didnt do anythin' so,i give right to the people.. do u know ..?? i am on few sites [network sites] and when mods or someone from the site proposing something.. majority of members,are voting for! u know why? cos they are happy that when they had problems,site management and tech team handled with.. thats unity! thats a community and so on.. and not what is here.. cos when so many people had problems,no one didnt do anything.. so,of course that from over 10000 users that stil "active" more or less in esnips,are just..few votes.. to not talk anymore that had views that topic and ..just few voted,again :D this really shows people arent satisfied by services..i told u example with those sites.. u know when a real community site is really a COMMUNITY >> when all do the best >> for example.. admin,through mods,maintain contact with users..hears suggestions,from both sides,then,takes decissions.. actually,here on esnips,never happend that.. and if happend something.. we have to thank to Lonnie and Jake..other people,i dont know .. when a site really wants something,also is showing that.. but untill then..will be just a common site,where people may suggest thousands of times in forums,something >>never happends anything :D lol thats the funny thing..
